Sunday Service

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)

Typical Sunday Service

Our worship service takes place every Sunday morning at 11am. Parking is easily found out front. When coming into the church you will be greeted and given the bulletin for the week which includes a more detailed description of what to expect in the week’s service. Coffee is made Sunday morning at 10:40am with fellowship occurring in the foyer, the fellowship hall, and the sanctuary before the service.

Our services generally include worship music from one of a variety of teams featuring multiple styles (from hymns to more contemporary worship music), prayers from people in the church, a kid’s corner, and a scripturally-based sermon. There is also a church nursery and Children’s Church that occur during the sermon. For more information on this, please see the Children’s Church/Nursery tab.

Many people choose to pray or fellowship after the service concludes. If you would like to pray with someone, Pastor Musa is generally available, and there are several leaders in the church that would love to pray with you.

The Lord’s Supper (Communion)

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."
Matthew 26:26-28
(NIV)

As Christians, we are called to observe the Lord’s Supper, also known as Communion. On the last Sunday of the month, Communion is observed after our regularly scheduled service. All believers are welcome to participate in Communion, and children that are in Children’s Church are welcome to return to the service to participate in the ceremony. Though non-believers are welcome to watch the congregation as we observe the Lord’s Supper, participating in it reserved for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. You can learn more about the Free Methodist stance on communion here.

Accessibility

Our church is all at ground level and is accessible by wheelchair with handicapped parking directly in front of the drop-off canopy.

If you are hard of sight and would like a sheet that has the lyrics to the service’s songs, please request one from the greeter upon entry. If there are any left over, they will be on the table on the left upon entering the church.

We broadcast from our church to the parking lot at 91.1 FM. If you would like to listen to the service live, but are not wanting to, or are unable to come inside, you can tune in and worship with us from there.

We have headphone radios that receive the radio broadcast of the service. If you are hard of hearing and would like to hear the sermon more clearly, you can pick one up in the foyer to the right of the center door leading to the sanctuary. Please make sure to return them and to let us know if there are any issues (low battery, broken headphones, etc.)

Our sermons are also posted under the “Sermons” page on this website. If you could not hear well, or would like to review the sermon, you can access them there.
