Youth Group is a place where we seek to enable today’s youth to be tomorrow’s leaders through teaching, leading and growing disciples in Christ. We get off the bus after school on Friday’s at Calvary Baptist Church in Desbarats, where we will either stay there or travel to area churches including Island Free Methodist Church, Faith Baptist Church and other volunteers houses from each of those churches. We will then have an activity, dinner and bible lesson each week. Pick up will be either at the event location or at Calvary Baptist Church once activities are done, usually around 8PM. We will have a event page set up for each week where you can find all the details. All youth grades 6 through 8 are welcome to join us.
We will be doing a bible lesson each week and a fun activity, while also having an emphasis on the importance of giving back to the community and building leaders, through discipleship, small group discussion time and outreach.
If you have any questions contact Ashton Kent at 705-782-6483. Please contact us if your youth cannot get picked up and we can arrange to drive them home.
