At Island FMC, we believe children aren't just the church of tomorrow, they're an important part of the church today. Our Children's Church provides a fun, safe, and engaging environment where kids can
discover the love of Jesus, build friendships, and grow in their faith through age-appropriate Bible teaching from Lifeway's "The Gospel Project for Kids".

Junior Children’s Church
(jk – Grade 2)
Our Junior Children's Church introduces young children to God's love through simple Bible lessons, songs, games, crafts, and activities designed just for their age. Children learn foundational Bible truths in a fun, encouraging environment where curiosity and questions are always welcome.
Senior Children’s Church
(Grades 3-6)
As children grow, so does their understanding of God's Word. Senior Children's Church encourages kids to dig deeper into Scripture through interactive lessons, discussion, prayer, and Scripture memory. Our goal is to help them develop a personal faith and the confidence to live it out each day.

Every Sunday, children begin the worship service with their families before joining Kids' Corner at the front of the sanctuary. After a short Bible lesson or object lesson, they're dismissed to Children's Church where they'll enjoy:

Our dedicated teachers and volunteers love Jesus and are passionate about helping every child feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.
Our goal is to help every child leave knowing they are loved by God and excited to learn more about Him.
