Pastor Musa Daba has a heart for helping people know Jesus and grow in their faith. Through biblical teaching, compassionate pastoral care, and meaningful relationships, he leads Island FMC with a desire to see lives transformed by the Gospel. Whether you're new to church or have followed Christ for years, Pastor Musa would love to welcome you and walk alongside you in your faith journey.

Tori is often one of the first people you'll connect with at Island FMC during the week. From coordinating church communications and events to welcoming visitors and supporting our ministry teams, she helps keep the day-to-day life of the church running smoothly. Her passion is creating a welcoming experience where everyone feels informed, connected, and at home.

Lisa faithfully cares for our church behind the scenes, helping create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space for worship, community, and ministry throughout the week. Her dedication helps make Island FMC a place where people can gather and feel at home. Whether preparing for Sunday worship or caring for the details throughout the week, Lisa serves with a quiet heart of hospitality and care.

Henriette leads our Worship Ministry with a heart for helping people encounter God through music and praise. Working alongside a talented team of volunteers, she helps create worship services that draw our church family closer to Christ and prepare hearts to hear God's Word.

Deanna lovingly oversees our nursery ministry, providing a safe and caring environment for our youngest children during Sunday services. She is passionate about supporting families and ensuring little ones are cared for with kindness, patience, and joy.

Marney has a passion for helping children discover the love of Jesus in fun, engaging, and meaningful ways. Through Bible teaching, activities, and relationships, she partners with parents to help children build a strong foundation of faith that lasts a lifetime.

Jan leads our Stewards Ministry with compassion and a servant's heart. She helps care for practical needs within our church family while encouraging faithful stewardship and generosity that reflects the love of Christ in our community.

Jonathan serves as Board Chair, helping provide spiritual leadership and direction for Island FMC while supporting the church's mission and vision. As Men's Ministry Co-Leader, he is passionate about encouraging men to grow in their faith, build authentic friendships, and serve Christ together.

Phil serves as Vice Chair of our Official Board, offering wisdom, encouragement, and support in the leadership of the church. He is committed to helping Island FMC remain a welcoming, Christ-centred church that faithfully serves our congregation and community.

Debbie faithfully serves in several leadership roles at Island FMC. She oversees the church's financial stewardship, represents our congregation within the Free Methodist Church in Canada, coordinates our Prayer Point ministry, and compassionately walks alongside individuals and families through our Grief Ministry. Her heart for prayer and caring for others is evident in everything she does.

Glenn serves as Board Secretary while also leading our Audio & Visual Ministry. Whether recording meeting minutes or ensuring worship services run smoothly, he faithfully uses his gifts behind the scenes to support the ministry of Island FMC.

Greg serves on our Official Board and co-leads our Men's Ministry. He is passionate about encouraging men to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ through fellowship, discipleship, and serving both the church and the wider community.

John serves faithfully on the Official Board, helping provide wisdom, accountability, and leadership as Island FMC continues to pursue its mission of making disciples who worship, pray, care, and serve. He is committed to seeing the church remain a place where people can grow in their faith and experience genuine community.

Bernie serves on our Official Board while leading our Usher Team, helping create a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Whether greeting guests, assisting during worship services, or serving behind the scenes, Bernie is passionate about making people feel at home from the moment they arrive.
