OUR MISSION
Making Disciples Who Worship, Pray, Care & Serve
The mission of the St. Joseph Island Free Methodist Church is to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples who worship, pray, care, and serve.
At St. Joseph Island Free Methodist Church, we believe following Jesus is a lifelong journey of growing in faith, becoming more like Christ, and helping others do the same.
Through worship, prayer, discipleship, practical care, and serving our neighbours, we seek to live out the love of Jesus and share His good news with our community and beyond.

OUR VISION
Creating a Place Where People Can Experience Jesus
Because "God so loved the world..." (John 3:16) ... together we will co-operate with the Holy Spirit creating, in love, a spiritual, social and physical environment in which people, locally and beyond, can be introduced to the good news of Jesus Christ and experience the fullness of life He has to offer.
Guided by Jesus’ command to love one another as He has loved us (John 15:12), we desire to be a church where everyone can discover His love, grow in faith, find meaningful connection, and experience the abundant life He offers (John 10:10).

Rooted in god's word
Our mission and vision are grounded in Scripture.
Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
JOHN 3:16
For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
John 15:12
This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
John 10:10
The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
